De novo Peptide Sequencing

For the proteins and peptides that are not present in currently available databases, the protein sequencing using MS is also workable as De novo Peptide Sequencing.

We use tandem mass spectrometry (MALDI TOF-TOF, or electrospray MS/MS) to determine the primary sequence structure. The expert operators will then use the latest software to interpret the MS/MS spectra and derive your sequence.

The sample preparation for De novo peptide sequencing is the same with MALDI-TOF/TOF.
